Sustainable change requires local ownership and expertise, which is why our capacity building programs train community members to become water resource managers, technicians, and educators.
We establish community water management committees, providing them with governance training, financial management skills, and technical knowledge to oversee local water infrastructure as permanent institutions ensuring accountability and sustainable maintenance.
Special emphasis goes to training women and youth as water resource champions, with scholarships and sponsorships for promising leaders to pursue advanced education. We're creating a pipeline of homegrown expertise that will drive Kenya's water sector forward for generations.
