WAFLAK Kids

Small Hands, Big Impact: Raising the Future Guardians of Our Water.

Overview: WAFLAK Kids is an educational and interactive initiative dedicated to instilling a culture of water conservation and environmental respect from an early age. Through schools, community clubs, and storytelling, we teach children that water is a precious gift that must be protected. By turning kids into “Junior Water Guardians,” we ensure that the habits of sustainability are built into the foundation of the next generation.

Key Pillars:

  • WAFLAK School Clubs: Establishing “Water & Environment Clubs” in primary schools to teach kids about the water cycle, the importance of hygiene (WASH), and simple ways to save water at home.

  • The “Junior Guardian” Program: Fun, activity-based learning where children earn badges for participating in tree planting, river cleaning, and “Water-Wise” challenges.

  • Storytelling & Creative Arts: Using art, songs, and stories to simplify complex issues like climate change and water scarcity, making conservation relatable and exciting for children.

  • Healthy Schools, Healthy Kids: Focusing on school-based water purification and sanitation projects to ensure that every child has access to clean drinking water during their learning journey.

Our Goal: To ensure that every Kenyan child grows up understanding that clean water is a right, and protecting it is a shared responsibility. We aim to transform “classroom knowledge” into “backyard action.”
